I received a call a couple months ago from Payton, to photograph she and Tobin's elopement.

After much discussion they decided that elopement portraits in the French Quarter suited their style.

Payton is a celebrity stylist in Nashville and Tobin is a lead guitarist. She styled their wedding attire to reflect her love of the late 60's and early 70's. Her dress was a designer gown she had her eye on for a long time so much to her surprise once she had a wedding date the dress appeared again at an awesome price.

Tobin's jacket and boots were so kickass! The two of them make a very powerful, up-and-coming couple. But the real power is in the bond between them, each individually successful but as a team there is no stopping them.

It's rather ironic but most artists, except models (which Miss Payton used to be), are very camera shy. We hide behind our professions so to speak.

Tobin is no different.

He is about his music. Rather than pose him, I just let his beautiful bride Payton take over whispering in his ear.

And magic flowed.

This wedding calls for a black and white application to fit both our styles with a few color shots because their outfits were so cool. Their love of the fashion and style and my love of black and white inspired by the likes of Annie Leibowitz and others capturing the energy of the 60's revolution came together.
