Beautiful Summer Wedding at Muriels in Jackson Square
What do you get when you mix Muriel's in Jackson Square with friends, family and a second line? This wedding!
Elizabeth was referred by another bride from Shreveport, whose wedding we did a few years ago along with a mother-son shoot this past July. She wanted that same vibe. Candids, the real stuff, mixed with portraits. As usual, I turned them loose to pose as they felt fit them.
Holy moly folks! Heat!!!
And their wild and crazy entourage made this wedding fly by fast and furious!
What better place to start than the Bourbon Orleans Hotel French Quarter, probably the most popular hotel of my clients. It's beautiful, perfectly located in the French Quarter and, did I say, stunning? We grabbed some getting-ready shots in a less traditional manner then a quick last minute first look in the lobby before we headed out to Muriel's in Jackson Square for the ceremony and reception followed by a second-line fully loaded with a traditional brass band of locals.
We did grab some 'couple' time for some more intimate shots. Can't show all of them though!
Here is a sampling of what happens when you let go of preconceived notions and just have a good time! Give me a call to book your less than traditional New Orleans wedding, elopement or portraits. 504-920-8703
