Okay ladies this is a quickie post about your appearance during your photographs.

Glitter.

DON'T!!!

I can't emphasize this enough.

NO GLITTER on your face or body. That means be choosey in your makeup, your clothing and accessories. Why no glitter? Well, no photos here because they are hideous. Giant white blobs everywhere. So many it's impossible to Photoshop them out. 

Now, let me clarify.

Quality, higher end makeup, such as Smashbox have products with reflective properties, shimmers and such but NOT glitter, ever. And it doesn't matter the color of the glitter; it will show up as a white blog.

Why, you might ask? Because whether daytime or night I will have a flash on my camera. When needed to illuminate your face or in a creative application, it's in use. 

Oh and feathers, boas and the like. They shed. What does a light colored boa look like on a black tuxedo? 

These are little details that seem unimportant but they are very important when it comes time for your photographs. Go Shimmer! No Glitter!
