I specialize in portrait photography but not just some old posey stuff in front of a boring backdrop. Nope. Not me. I am all about getting creative and interesting images of the beautiful people who choose to stand in front of my lens. The image below is one of those photographs I just can't take my eyes away. It is one of many recently shot for a local online magazine that features New Orleans artists, creatives and gallery owners. 

The next issue of New Orleans Canvas Magazine comes out in July, 2018. Currently we are interviewing New Orleans artists for this issue. I had the pleasure of photographing a local oil painter and gallery owner Jason Horton. Usually I wait to show any images from these sessions until after publication but thanks to Erin's (the publisher) awesomeness I am posting this teaser. I am in love with this portrait of Jason with one of his truly original and cool large scale oil paintings.
