How to Save Money on Your Elopement Florals in New Orleans
I recently photographed a beautiful wedding in Audubon Park in New Orleans. As we left for the reception I noticed an unused boutonniere laying on the ground.
So, I snapped it up and tossed it on the jeep console.
Returning home I put it in a glass of water and set it up in the window above our kitchen sink.
TEN, count them, TEN days later it was a fresh as the day I snagged it.
So I texted the bride and asked her where she got her flowers. I knew they had done a floral DIY. To my surprise she ordered the flowers from Costco and then crafted her bouquet and bridal party florals. They were flipping beautiful. See for yourself!
So if your budget is tight but you want fresh florals check out Costco, Sam's Club or your local Grocer. Ask in advance and I am sure you can arrange delivery of beautiful florals.
Yes, you will have to make your own DIY bouquet, but doesn't that call for a wine and cheese party slash floral assembly session the night before??? How much fun is that?!!!

Natasha Ramsey - These are beautiful!! In the process of planning my ceremony, I called around for pricing. I could not imagine paying any of the prices I was quoted. I told my bestie and she said my mom can do that for you!!!! They were beautiful!!!! She did the same thing. great tip
