I really like Broussards as a New Orleans wedding venue for several reasons. First, is its just elegant and beautiful while representing New Orleans history.
Their courtyard is adorned with beautiful trees, palms and a gorgeous fountain center stage and is one of the most beautiful for wedding ceremony and reception photographs. A wonderful long balcony looks over the courtyard which is great for bouquet tossing.
Each dining room is a work of art representing the era with chandeliers and wall scones that perfectly illuminate the room. All beautiful areas for romantic photographs and your group shots. (scroll down for more about the food, staff and location)
Next is the food. Oh lawdy they put a spread that is not only gorgeous but really really delicious. Broussards has been an institution here in the French Quarter for many, many years, known for their fine dining.
Guy Reinbolt is the Executive Chef.
A little bit about his background: starts with his education in his home country of France, studying under several highly regarded Michelin star Chefs in both France and Germany. Before arriving at Broussards he was with the Famous Peabody Hotel and Trump Taj Mahal. Also a certified Master Sommelier, he is truly gifted in pairing food and wine selections. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and Chaine des Rotisseures. So yes the food is as good as it gets whether you choose a plated, sit-down dinner or banquet stations.
The staff: I've worked in many hotels and restaurants throughout the United States and have never seen a better staff, ready to attend to your every need with a genuine smile and enthusiasm that says 'welcome'. Spot on service, attentiveness to guests' needs and the tiny details of polished silver and that special cocktail you so covet. The management and sales staff truly care about your needs and ultimate experience.
Lastly one must not forget Broussards is on Conti Street just 1/2 block from Bourbon Street and smack dab in the French Quarter. You cannot walk 20' without finding a cool backdrop, character or scene that makes for both beautiful and romantic wedding photographs.
Do yourself a favor. If you are looking for a different type of venue for your ceremony and reception give Caroline a call at Broussards to discuss your wedding needs. Once you have the perfect venue and photographer the rest just falls perfectly into place. Why? Because they can recommend your remaining few needed vendors from their experiences.

Samantha Grimes - I am interested in having a Vow Renewal event.
Approximately 25-50 guests, definitely in the evening, definitely with dancing.
I would like to know about catering options and pricing,
facility rental fees, decorating limitations, hours of use,
if you allow food and alcohol to be brought in,
and if you offer an active duty military discount.
We are looking to hold our event some time around
August 19th of 2016 (dates are flexible)-quite some time away.
Also, unfortunately, I would not be unable to come have a
tour of meet with you until much later because I am
stationed in OKC, OK. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you!
