Elope in New Orleans Cemetery
Wow, where do I start?! This couple wanted something different to commemorate their marriage in New Orleans. Choosing local artist and French Quarter gallery owner (Deurty Boys Gallery at 901 Chartres) Lance Vargas who's also a licensed officiant to preside over their vows. What better place but one of the historical cemeteries in the city. After the really emotional and beautiful ceremony we took time to grab some cool portraits and candids. Lance did a wonderful job of making their vows and experience the most memorable and COOL!

Pamela Reed - I’m sorry Jamie but I book out a year in advance for halloween. However you will be hard pressed to gain entrance to a cemetery here on halloween. all catholic ones are closed to the public.

Danielle - Pam was the key ingredient for making our special day absolutely wonderful and so EASY. She helped us through every aspect of planning to elope just a month in advance, becoming an awesome friend in short time! I’m not normally comfortable in front of a lense but she has some kind of magic that made it fun, while capturing exactly what we wanted — in fact, more than we ever expected. And Lance, he was an important part of the potion adding to the carefree spirit we wanted. We visited his studio afterwards and quickly became proud owners of one of his unique pieces that fit the day perfectly! Two amazing artists creating one of our most treasured memories.
