Lovely Family Comes Together in a Dream Wedding
Karen called me early in the year to book her wedding after her friend, Lindsay, another awesome bride of mine, recommended me.
She had some really cool ideas as they joined two families. I must admit I have no idea how she stays so youthful because I would have never known she was old enough for any kids!
We started at the Ritz-Carlton for a quick first look then on to some intimate family shots on the rooftop. The ceremony was in the beautiful courtyard of the hotel officiated by a most amazing and humble reverend whom they had reached out to be a part of their joining.
Shortly thereafter we headed out for French Quarter street shots of the family.
Meeting up later for the reception at Arnaud's I was able to grab a few shots of the beautiful decor and views. There is something very rewarding to those of us photographers who really feel their clients and the images they provide.
This family was so amazing! It was the dynamics within that I found most beautiful. All these individual personalities mixed in producing this cool swirl of chaos while totally surrounded by the connection of love.
Yeah I sound syrupy I know. And I don't do that often but it is really a gift to sit back and look at these little tiny intimate moments between family, especially when they are joining together like this.
Check out some photos from their day and tell me you don't see it too. Go to my website to see more photos from this wedding at The Ritz Carlton and Arnaud's Restaurant in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
