Intimate Elopement in Iconic New Orleans Jackson Square
Melanie and Sean booked me a year out.
As soon as she saw the photos from Jackie and Jason's April Fools Wedding she called.
We planned for a year and of course with a rain backup.
Well, wedding day arrived with the threat of seriously heavy flooding rain. There was a break right at ceremony time so we gambled and left the Bourbon Orleans with Reverend Joe Pitzer headed for Jackson Square.
We choose right outside the main gate across from the St. Louis Cathedral. A small crowd gathered and the rain began.
Umbrellas popped open, my equipment got its 'condom' and the ceremony continued without a hitch. As we headed to Pirate's Alley Absinithe Bar for a toast the sky opened and deluge began. Toasts over we looked outside and decided to heck with it. I donned a poncho and wrapped a plastic trashbag around my camera knowing I couldn't use flash and we rocked out some awesome portraits.
Rain or shine, do you want to make art and memories? Give me a call to see if your date is available. 504-920-8703
