As time passes, many of my couples return to New Orleans to celebrate their anniversaries in the city where they said their vows.

Just recently I photographed Sophia and Neil who were celebrating their first anniversary.

We re-visited all the places we went a year ago and took new photographs. Some were candids and really cool, while others were planned portraits.

Like many of my couples, they wanted to participate in my American Gothic portrait project.  There are a couple prospects below.

And I am sure you will notice the one on Bourbon Street with all the trash. That was our little laugh. I'm asked quite often how I am able to get beautiful portraits on Bourbon Street with no trash. Well, that's my little secret. But, we thought it would be fun to show the world what it really looks like.
