'Day After Wedding' and Honeymoon Artistic Portraits and Candid Photography in New Orleans
One of the many benefits of booking me for your wedding photography is I am often willing to split time.
Couples will book their ceremony in one location but still want to spend some time doing portraits and candids in the French Quarter. When possible we split time the same day or over two days while they are here enjoying their honeymoon.
I've even had couples book me just for their honeymoon photographs!
I highly suggest this if you're thinking about it, because right after your ceremony and signing those oh-so-important papers everything changes.
It's the little things, the smile, the way you walk, lean in to talk, they all add up to some very simple but very precious moments in time you will want to relive often. The elopement couples and smaller, more intimate weddings have the luxury of doing this. It affords you time to just breathe and wear what you want.
Some couples choose their wedding attire while many choose to dress down for a trip to the local dive bar and, of course wandering the streets with cocktail in hand, being a part of why we here love our city. For a short time you are one of us!
Give me a call if you would like to chat further about this option and pricing. And tell your fiancé we always stop FIRST for cocktails, toast is optional but recommended! I promise a relaxing, fun and very memorable experience you'll never forget that will take up very little of your honeymoon time! 504-920-8703
These photographs are from a wedding this past June. The couple were seven weeks into planning a big wedding. They were so frustrated at costs and the hassle of planning the wedding, that they threw up their hands, called the family and headed to New Orleans for an intimate wedding. We split their time with a couple hour break to cool off before we met up again.
